On the occasion of Teachers' Day, OriginWave invited and honoured Mr Subramaniam and Mrs Rajam Subramaniam, former history teacher of Mr Navin Ram (CEO of OriginWave).
Mr Navin Ram spoke in praise of Mrs Rajam Subramaniam's contribution as a teacher and mentor.
"In today's era of globalization, understanding history and the world is very important. Just look at the world we live in, it is truly a global village where different cultures mingle seamlessly. But Mrs Rajam Subramaniam was something more special than a history teacher. She was responsible for my development as a human being. She gave me the right advice at difficult times, supported me when I was down, gave me warmth and affection and saw beyond grades. She nurtured my leadership skills and really gave me a 'true education' which helped me grow into the person that I am today. I encourage all of you to be in touch with as many teachers as possible right from your kindergarten days, not just on the occasion of Teachers Day but on a regular basis. Let us lovingly give back to our teachers and show them how grateful we are for everything that they have given us."
